Found this book by accident and started it...and didn't stop reading. I thoroughly enjoy a story that explains the details of a crime investigation. Plus, the characters were believable and smart, especially the female personalities. To top it off, I'm now thinking of visiting Anchorage, but maybe in the summer.

Finished it! It was good, I really liked it. Completely unique (like the method of killing) and very imaginative. The story held my attention because your format of lots of conversation/dialog versus a maximum of detailed background info made it flow. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Pretty darn good for a first novel. I've read stronger lead characters--Jimmy DeAnza was not always the smartest, but his supporting cast of women helped him immensely in solving the murder. I liked that.
